For my senior portfolio project, I made a Ball Jointed Doll (BJD) in collaboration with my friend Lindsey Larsen. I sculpted in ZBrush using her concepts and orthographic based on Mary Shelley! Once modeling was done, the doll's STLs were sent to Lindsey to print. After iterating back and forth between test prints in filament, we did the final print in skin tone resin. During the printing process, I drafted the patterns and sewed her dress! Once that was done, I moved on to her wig, which is made of acrylic yarn and a cloth wig cap! I had so much fun collaborating with my friend; it was a challenging but rewarding experience. So excited to continue!
